If there is a downpour, you can simply wear a poncho long enough to cover your entire arm and hold beer/liquor/contraband in your hands. Not kidding, it works. They don't think to check your hands.
Just watched videos with Ryan Johnson, Madre, Buchanon and Kongbo. Johnson is fired up. Evidently we are going to blocking low and downhill with limited cuteness. Madre said Banks is his little brother. Buchanon talked about in your face defense and excited about press coverage. Kongbo said he told his parents it doesn't seem like the same place as it has been the last 2 years and that he feels like his old self and confident in his ability. All said they are 100% prepared and Pruitt is a great teacher. Fall is Coming
Remember back when we would play one game before Florida and have a damn bye while Florida would get two games inbefore us? Glad to see we have stopped that nonsense and now have three warm up games before that game.
What is this feeling heading into football season? It reminds me of something I remember as excitement.
My introduction to UT football. I was from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, having moved to Knoxville when I was 10 in 1979. College football was non-existent in South Florida at that time, it was All NFL, All The Time. And after moving to Knoxville, it took me a long time to get it. But this win made me think "What are these people doing carrying a stupid goal post down the road for?" I was hooked.
My then GF and future wife was beating the shit out of me in utter joy after the final blocked FG. I liked it.
