Call me crazy, but I’m starting to see a lot of similarities between Muschamp: The Florida Edition and Muschamp: The USCe edition.

 

He needs an elite OC to get you where you want to be.

 

100%. The playcalling this season under Bryan McClendon has been utterly predictable. If S.C. lines up in a pistol, they’re running it off-tackle. If Deebo goes in motion, it’s a speed sweep to him. Beyond that, Bentley still stares down his receivers and consistently under and overthrows his receivers. The thing I’ve been most taken aback by this year with our team is the drops by our receivers. Coming into the season, I would have labeled them a strength. It seems like they’ve had a good number of drops in every game. They had a ton of drops yesterday, namely Bryan Ddwards on what would have been a deep touchdown, Deebo on a 40ish yard throw when he was beyond the secondary, and Shi Smith on what have been a first down the drive before A&M put the final nail in the coffin.

Sucks for you guys if it works out that way. I've never had any faith in the guy. He always comes off as having an IQ somewhere between jacket weather and grab your parka. Still, he's undefeated against the Big Orange.

 

Oh he’s not dumb is a pretty good coach all things considered, but his entire head coaching career will be defined by his inability to hire a good OC.

 

By what measure? He comes off as an idiot plain and simple. I get he was on hot lists galore for being a head coach way back when, but I've never seen justification for the level of infatuation at any point in his career.

 

Makes no sense to me why you guys didn’t at least try to convince Mark Dantonio to come home.

 

After the Bielema debacle I doubt another above average Big 10 coach leaves for the SEC for some time.

For whatever reason, the team never looks ready to play on offense and consistently plays without discipline on either side of the ball. I want Muschamp to succeed, but he’s got three good wins to his name in three years at SC. The diehards are pointing to Spurrier and how long it took him to have success at SC, but this man is not Steve Spurrier.

Agreed. I don’t know why we didn’t at least throw some money at him.

 

He's an undisciplined psychopath, so his teams play undisciplined.

 

I think Dantonio is worlds better than Bielema.
