Saturday was coaching malpractice, but also indicative of the festering rot left behind from the previous regime. We had been waiting on the mass exodus of Butch recruits, but we never saw one. This disastrous season will be the necessary cleansing. The most responsible course of action will be to let Pruitt ride this one out, get the young guys on the field, and get whatever recruits he possibly can. I'm slowly letting myself fall into this VN logic. Assuming it will fade once we get throttled by BYU.
I'd rather lose with Pruitt's players. We need them to develop. Too many upperclassmen who aren't going to make a positive impact.

I think that this is important, but I’d like to see this information - who is a Butch v. Pruitt player - as it relates to both the 2-deep and the number of snaps last Saturday. My theory is that there are more of Pruitt’s players, but we’re still more heavily reliant on Butch’s.
