If he gets an OC he can trust, he'll be fine as a figurehead. Aranda is a defensive genius and seems content as a DC. He has figured out to let his assistants go do their jobs.
As the guy who has watched more LSU football than all of you the last 15 years, Orgeron has learned from his mistakes and continually has improved as a head coach. He's not Saban/Dabo, but he's a lot better than people give him credit for as a head man.
Also remember LSU lost to Troy 2 years ago. And it was played out very similarly to Saturday where they just got their asses handed to them most of the night.
As much as I hate the way GA ST played out, and everything about it, I will accept it for the time being if it means we are moving in the right direction.
