This is the kid we sent 100+ hand written notes to. He can play. For those of you who want to see what separates a kid from being a decent college prospect to someone who is a stud, count how many times this kid gets tackled from behind in his film. This is really one of the best films you'll ever see.
If true that tells you what they think of Monroe Area's competition.... It also should tell you the priority they are putting on defenders from here on out.
Problem is we still are in on Booth, Malone and Lauderdale. And another potentially huge problem is Evan Berry is pretty dead set on playing WR in college... while he can play in the secondary he doesn't appear to really want to at this point.
I read all this on TOOS, so it is what it is, but folks seem to think Booth is a silent (told to hold off by the coaches), Lauderdale is close and the coaches think Malone is very overrated. But Malone is the one who was never high on us, so go figure. The Berry situation is getting interesting. I wonder if he'll get the "we'll give you shot, but" line. Either way, it seems like we'll have some WR transfers in a few years.
