I guess it comes down to who has more salary cap room.

Woody Wommack just said on the radio that if you put a gun to his head he goes Vols for Malone. I thought Woody already knew where Malone was going ? Didn't I see a tweet from Woody saying he "Didn't have to guess" where Josh was going? Basically saying he already knew.

Why would guessing a recruit's destination ever get so serious that it'd result in putting a gun to someone's head?

Can you make a judgement about RF with a broken leg? Dobbs biggest problem is he decides how when and where he is going to throw 3 seconds after breaking the huddle. That can be fixed. Lots of qbs look mediocre their first year or two before things click.

Obviously it's because recruiting is very serious.

Not sure if I am alone in this, but I just have a bad feeling about this one.

We should get him. If not, eh??

Anyone remember the last time we beat out Clemons (that used to drive a Clemson alum I knew crazy) for a top recruit late?

Malone would be a huge get. We should all realize what a legit WR talent can do for us as a Frosh...see USC win. But, it seems that quick turnarounds always involve a playmaker QB. They are not a dime a dozen, but why wouldn't that be a priority???

They're happy with Dobbs and Ferguson

    Or

It takes a year or two to get in on recruiting top level qbs and Butch isn't wasting a spot in this class for another average qb

Does anyone think this kid picks someone other than UT tomorrow?

If Fergs is better than Dobbs like a lot of people say,I think we will be more than fine at QB. Dobbs certainly hasn't been great, but I think he's looked much better than most seem to think.

Staff just offered a '15 mid state QB today that is apparently starting to get a lot of interest.
