Hell, McCullers sneaking into the late rounds means we've had 2 DTs taken in the last seven NFL drafts (the other being Dan Williams in 2010). Same as Memphis.

That's probably about what LSU and Bama have averaged per year over that timespan.

Butch absolutely has to even that up for us ever to be elite again.

 

Turk McBride and Justin Harrell were drafted in the 07 draft.

Possibly, but can't imagine them taking him that high if it was pre-existing.

There was. The injury wasn't career threatening though. Plus when he was nearing the end of his recovery, he magically reinjured it while, "trying to take a crap."

More than seven drafts ago and I think Turk played DE in the league.

 

Visit went well. He really praises the coaches for recruiting him hard and staying on him for so long. I think a lot will depend on how things go this season and how much Bama wants him. He will decide in December.
