    QB: Guarantano
    RB: Chandler
    FB/HB: Pope
    TE: Wolf
    WR: Jennings
    WR: Callaway
    OT: Smith
    OG: Hall
    OC: Kennedy
    OG: Carvin
    OT: Richmond

OL could see some guys play different positions, but if everyone is healthy these will probably be the 5.

    DE: Phillips
    DT: Tuttle
    DE: Gooden
    LB: Kongbo
    LB: Kirkland Jr
    LB: Bituli
    LB: Sapp
    CB: Osborne
    FS: Kelly Jr
    SS: Warrior
    CB: Buchanon

    K: Cimaglia
    P: Brooks

Some young talent backing these guys up that could potentially start later in the year. Maybe I'm just a little too excited, but we have the talent to surprise some people this year.

I thought that Kelly Jr. was finished - am I making that up?

No way Kelly starts at safety imo. Hes a backup at best and not quick. Gooden, have no idea what he will bring, assuming he makes it in. Im guessing Alontae ends up starting at cb and Sham at the other.

Did Marquill Osborne take a punt back for six maybe in late 2016?

I blanked on Taylor. Not sure if he starts game one but he’s going to to play a lot of football this season. That will probably force Osborne and Shamburger to fight for the nickel spot.

That was Callaway. I don't think he touched a football after that

I looked it up. Marquill returned a few kicks in late 2016, I guess when Evan Berry was out. Had a 55 yarder.

Edit: That got me thinking about Evan, so I looked him up, too. With the Browns. Ugh.

I think Shamburger is the NB in our 5 DB sets. Alontae Taylor may very well start at one of the CB spots, as well. It's good to have talent.

Am I wrong to think that’s at least a 7-8 win starting unit, barring significant injury?

I’d go with 7-8 wins. Just looking at some positions he brought in, he filled some needs imho

I'm thinking 7-8 minimum also. There is actual coaching at all levels/positions now. This is the most I've been excited about Tennessee football in years.

I only did base sets, but do you think Tyler Byrd starts at slot and KR/PR? He's been an under-utilized player for 2 years IMO

I know this is going to sound petty, but if CP hits 7 or more this year I am going over to the other place and pull up every butch thread talking about how it's the first year and we should temper expectations and shout from my soap box how stupid butch was. I think it will go over well.
