What Vols do you think get drafted in next years draft? Jauan Jennings? Jashon Roberstson? Darrin Kirkland? John Kelly? You already see a drop off in Butch's recruiting by the lack of talent that will be in next years draft.
Kongbo if he plays up to his athletic potential and Tuttle if he's healthy too. Todd Kelly Jr may be a linebacker in the nfl
I think we'll look back on the 2017 season and say WTF Butch when the draft rolls around, to be honest. Jennings, Kirkland Jr and Kelly are solid draft picks. Kongbo can be one if he figures out football. Justin Martin will run in the 4.4s and is a 6' 2" CB, teams tend to lose their minds over those. Tuttle is an NFL player when he's healthy. McKenzie will be an NFL player. Phillips stays healthy for a full season, he's an NFL player. Jashon Robertson has been a really good OLineman on a terrible Oline.
Just like the '16 season... History will not be kind to a team that had 6 draft choices, half a dozen other undrafted free agents, half of Jalen Hurd and a promising class behind them but went 8-4 with a loss to Vanderbilt.
Absolutely. Over time, that might get forgotten. I don't think there will ever be a time when somebody doesn't look at 2016 and ask "how the **** did they lose to Vandy?" though.
God, I just remember that Hurd had a fluke fumble recovery to keep us from losing to Appy St. This season really probably should have been 6-6.
Yeah, but we were just one missed 80 yard field goal away from potentially beating the Gamecocks. So...
