Made my yearly trip to see a game last night and have our tee-ball league party.

For most of the night it looked like Vandy was playing chess and we playing hopscotch, until Benito Santiago hit a grand slam and got us within one.

Had a good rally going in the bottom of the 8th, 1b and 2B with one out, but got doubled off on the unluckiest of plays that was going to score a the tying run at least.

Yea there’s nothing baserunner can do about that. Gotta have aggressive secondary when you’re tying run to score on a base hit.

 

Benito has got to be getting up there in years by now.
