make a list of the clowns who have PROVEN they can win more than 6 games per year, sort that list by winning percentage and you work your way down it. If we come to the end of the list without finding a "suitable candidate", go [uck fay] yourself and I can go back to doing something else with my saturdays

I'd like to see him keep winning for a few more years and make sure he's just not benefitting from taking over a program that is rolling.

Tennessee going to shell out over 5 million a year for a head coach? I’d be all for it despite the fact that it [uck fay] over the other school that I support. Is UT going to pony up that type of cash? Plus I’m still not shied he says yes. Even for 5 million.

 

Maybe way back but he’s been a Paul Johnson guy for over 20 years.

 

He’d be the best coach in the East, by far.

Why not though? Not like he has any serious ties to UVA being a west coast guy his entire career.

 

For context, that would only be the 15th highest paid coach in CFB, as of today. After the usual offseason coaching hires, 5 mill probably will barely squeak into the top 25 for the 2020 season.

 

Why would any sane person that is having the slightest bit of success at their current gig come to Tennessee?

 

If we are not going to hire a guy that has at least gotten his team to a major bowl then we might as well try and get lucky. Which we won't.
