I agreed after he re signed for more $ that the prssure is on to get to the tournament and perform. He was getting a pass this year due to attrition until the UCLA stuff. We arent a strong enough program right now to survive losing 3-4 players to the NBA.
In year 5 and getting paid $4.7 million a year, he damn well better have a program which can make a minimal accomplishment like making the tournament.
Where do you come up with this stuff. You said it was unacceptable. I asked what happens after you unaccept it. I didnt tell you how to feel. Pretty much know how you are gonna feel 5 seconds into a game anyway.
I posted multiple times with the new contract he doesnt get a pass next year, and expectations are to make a run soon.
Everybody has a year here and there where they miss the tournament. Better not make a habit out of it.
I wish we would shorten the season a game or two and start later in the year in the south. It sucks starting practice in full pads in July.
I'm no basketball guy, but it's simple logic. His pay: top 5 Teams that get in the tournament: 64 SEC Teams that get in: generally north of 5 Asking him to get in every year is a totally logical and seemingly acceptable expectation. He only needs to be top five in the conference, and he has a top five in the nation salary.
He better make the tourney every year, and I don’t give a hot damn if he has to rotate Pons & Fulk at the point. Every. Damned. Year.
On the football front, Pruitt is about to lose Tate Ratledge to UGA and Justin Rogers to UK(!). Plenty of time to salvage a class, but combine this with losing Rakim Jarrett and you've got a ROUGH start.
Michigan guy thinking about Ky must've had his buddy there hook him up with some wildcats. From Michigan, and has them Ga and Tn on his list, and may choose to football at Ky.
