Just going off some texts. One said he was reluctant to visit. Another said people around him wanted UT badly, which seemed to turn him away more. Another said he threw UT gear on the floor and then picked up Ky. Is that info incorrect?

McDaniel has offers from pretty much everyone who matters and is a 3 star. I guess he didn’t kiss 247’s ass enough to get a higher ranking.
I wonder how many times kids are rated by guys who have never seen them play, never seen them at a camp or flat out just dont know what to look for in the first place. Guys like Richmond and Blair are 5* while kids like this beast with an attitude are ranked 2 notches lower.
I doubt many of them watch full game films on kids, which is the best way to determine how good a player someone is. It's all about camps and what they look like out of pads.
Which is nuts. Out of pads with no safeties to worry about is silly. Shows athleticism, but there are athletes everywhere.
