Isaac Washington just committed. DT out of NC with a lot of SEC offers.
Gimme all those NC players.
Well the #1 player in TN just committed to Clemson. Kind of becoming a tradition.
TE from Ravenwood. Good player. Wonder if he will try to play wr. He is long and lean and will struggle with blocking until he puts on a ton of weight.
Kid moved here recently from somewhere up north. Really no ties to UT except moving to Brentwood a couple years ago.
There’s still another really good TE in TN. Bama pushing hard for him though.
He's the bigger, more traditional tight end of the two too
His dad played at Michigan State
#1 player in the country just committed to Clemson as well.
I just read that Clemson has not had a decommitment in the last 4 years. That’s wild.
It's sickening how good they've been recruiting. It's been mentioned before but our incompetence for the last 10 years has contributed to it and it's a damn shame.
So who are some of the top tier guys that we're supposed to have a real shot at? At first glance, it doesn't seem like we're being mentioned for many of the 5 star caliber guys in this class right now.
5 star DT Payton Page
Borderline 5 star ILB Terrence Lewis
5 star OT Amarius Mims
Borderline ATH 5 star Smael London
4 Star RB Cody Brown
Just to name a few of the bigger name guys
Seems like there's a highly ranked player out of Bammer, maybe even the number one player in the state, a LB I think that has talked a lot about us but can't remember his name.
QB targets seem to be Christian Veilleux - 4 star top 200 out of Maryland and Drake Maye - 4 star top 125 out of NC. Drake is committed to Bama but has been rumored to be looking around for awhile.
In state guys they're going after:
4* LB Junior Colson
4* DB Andre Turrentine
4* TE Hudson Wolfe
4* WR Walker Merrill
3* OL Dietrick Pennington
3* OL William Griffin
4* WR Tray Curry
Osovet is Veilleux's primary recruiter
I'd be surprised if a blue chip QB is coming next year.
Dylan Brooks is the kid from Alabama I was trying to think of earlier.
I'm okay with this so long as we had our guy in this class. Quality backup earning a shot in three year would be great.
