Oct. 9: vs. South Carolina (Knoxville) Oct. 16: vs. Ole Miss (Knoxville) Oct. 23: at Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) Oct. 30: OPEN DATE Nov. 6: at Kentucky (Lexington, Ky.) Nov. 13: vs. Georgia (Knoxville) Nov. 20: vs. South Alabama (Knoxville) Nov. 27: vs. Vanderbilt (Knoxville) That’s one of the softest schedules we’ve had since I’ve been a Tennessee fan. With the team we thought we had this year, that’s 9-3. With the team we’re going to have next year, I have no idea. That Florida/Mizzou/South Carolina/Ole Miss stretch is going to tell us a lot. 3-1 or 4-0 and we’re taking back all the bad things we ever said about Heupel. 1-3 or 0-4 and we’re ready to fire him in year one.
4, maybe 5 wins. Vandy we should beat but I won’t hazard a guess (not a positive one, anyway) on any other league game.
I expect a bowl ban for at least next year. Because of this, we'll have an unbelievable season....just watch!
If Heupel beats either Florida or Lane, I expect you’ll change your tune. (I also don’t really expect that to happen, but that’s neither here nor there)
Good. I hope Kiffin bends UT over backwards, goes in dry and laughs about it on social media for days after doing so.
I hope the result is the same as last time Heupel and Lane coached against each other, but that’s just me.
I’m not rooting against this guy. He didn’t have anything to do with the last 15 years. I can see not tuning in, but can’t see rooting against them.
It’s not so much against Heupel as it is the University. They have intentionally given fans the finger for going on two decades now. I’m finally giving it back.
