He’s made it known publicly several times that facilitates and salaries are a priority. Budget and pay increases for his staff are particularly important to Coach V as well.
We need to pay them like a top staff because they have become a top staff. Unless we don't want top staffs. It is funny how simple this really all is.
With how good we have been at paying shitty football coaches, you'd think we'd know how to pay a good baseball coach.
Idk who @BarstoolMintzy is, but I clicked on his profile and watched his "Pinned" Tweet at the top of his page... Is something wrong with that dude? Serious question.
But see, we try to save a little on the front end with football hires. And then we pay them more after a mediocre year and/or in buyouts at an amount that if we had just spent that much on the hire, we'd have had a better coach at the same price point. It's just so crazy stupid. Think about it. We consistently are paying 2 or 3 coaches a year for the same job, but pinching pennies on the hires to keep the cycle going. It's idiotic. Maybe stiffing Pruitt will break this cycle.
Glenn Guilbeau, the LSU beat writer for USA Today, says LSU is down to Jay Johnson, Cliff Godwin, and Link Jarrett. So it looks like Vitello isn't a candidate.
Pay the man and his assistants, upgrade the facilities, and restock those creamsicles while you’re at it.
I def would’ve bought one. I thought they’d have them at the regional. Kinda disappointed they didn’t. They probably would’ve sold millions
