It looked like they had no answer for us in the first two innings and we didn’t build the lead. Now we look like we’re in for a second-consecutive wake-up call. Time for the “Ole Miss and Vandy (and South Carolina) were actually just bad” narrative?
Few millimeters on a couple of swings away from being a very different score. That’s baseball sometimes.
We had a warning track flyout to end an inning with the bases loaded. We had a double-play ball go through our legs to score a run. Just flip those two and we’re ahead. That said, clearly not the dominance we’re accustomed to so far in SEC play.
This Todd and Bob broadcast is gold. Big fan of Todd dropping a "What just happened?" once an inning.
He looks like a guy that would enjoy exposing himself to little kids, so he's probably just pissed that he isn't up at the playground.
It seems like every inning ended with a pop up, why not the game, too. Ugh, losing streak and to Bama, no less.
Seems like Burns has hit a bit of a freshman wall. Nothing wrong with that, just hope he gets through it soon. If we're gonna slump, I'd rather get it out of the way now.
Last nite's HP ump is 3B ump. He just threw out TV in 1st inning. TV gave the ump the belly bump after he threw him out. I think Frank Anderson also got thrown out, too. Not sure exactly why. Kesling doesn't give you a whole lot of info.
