at some point you have to feel the pressure and start pressing, right? Seems we have started to struggle with the off speed stuff in the dirt and taking more first pitch fastballs.
It was a crappy weather night on a Thursday against a lower tier team on the road. It is what it is. Win the next two. I'd much rather them lose a few now, just be a top 8 overall seed, regroup and have all cylinders firing in the month of June.
horrible atmosphere as well. Hard to not feed off and need the energy at home and on the road where it's rowdy either way. I'm not worried about losses. Like i mentioned though the swings at bad balls have increased recently, which could be temporary, or scouting, pressure or any combo. Be hard to keep up being everyones' game of the year for so many weeks.
Should have done the script Vols on the jersey. But if the team likes them and wants to play in them, then I’m fine with it.
