gonna take tomorrow, 2 next week and a decent showing in Hoover. We just don’t have a resume at all away from home. I’d bet we were in the bottom half of the 2s going into this weekend.
A no contest doesn’t really benefit us though, even if it erases a loss. We probably need 16 wins to host and I have zero faith in this team winning the series at SC.
Latest I saw has us as a 2 in #11 UVA region with WVU in the Supers. And while it's not probable at all, it's at least still mathematically possible to get the 4 seed in Hoover.
I know that by asking this we will get run-ruled in both games today, but how will seeding work in the SEC tournament if we take 2 of 3 this weekend and end up with the same number of wins as SC plus the series win but them having one less loss? Would they get the higher seed because they would have a higher win percentage due to a game with LSU getting cancelled?
That's stupid, but I don't expect us to double our SEC road win total this weekend so it's likely a non-issue.
