Good win. Getting swept coulda put us in a tough situation. AJ Russel has surprised. He looks like he’s got “it”. And the 6’8 guy who came in to close…where has he been. Ball got on the plate quick with some movement. Burke looks like he’s having trouble picking up offspeed. He may not see many more fastballs. Offspeed and inside gets him.
I don’t really know what Fanning’s deal is. He just hasn’t quite put it all together. If he keeps throwing like he did last night, he will get more shots.
I do think some of the parking behind the RF fence will go away, but otherwise, there’s room as is down the 1B side. It’s all been surveyed already and you can see where they’re painted their marks.
Well I’m about 90% sure fraternity row is moving to Lake avenue in the coming years. Obviously not all baseball facility driven since they are out of space all over. Maybe they are building some expanded green area outside of the park on that side. I’ve heard they’re already in the process of negotiating that move.
He’s been throwing a lot to first base as well, way more than normal so arm definitely was pretty worn I would think.
