2023 Vols Baseball

I realize that. It was crazy to have the threat 1-9.

 

I think Tony is going to have to move on from Booker, Scott, and Taylor and give some of the younger guys a chance. Those three still look totally lost at the plate and that outfield was brutal defensively too.

 

I would bet we see a different outfield tonight than last night, and probably tomorrow too.

 

Some folks are acting really spoiled already. After one game.

 

omg we didn’t light up a top 50 draft pick. Should probably bench half the lineup

 

They also lost on Friday night to Texas (in Houston) last season and then won 70 eleven games in a row.

 

Charlie Taylor tries hard. But Tony PH’d Cal Stark for him midway through the game and Stark got 2 hits. That’s the same number of hits Taylor has in his entire college career.

 

Cal Stark is an A+ baseball name

 

Any surprise players this year? Last year was probably Ortega as far as batting goes.

 

Did Vitello get in a fight?

 

Caught a line drive in practice with his face.

 

Stark looks pretty good. Two hits last night off the bench, and a bomb tonight as the starting DH. RS-freshman from Farragut.

No challenges this year?

 

Lol catcher looked horrible then 2 amazing plays.

 

both looked safe which is why I was expecting a challenge

 

I don’t think they have replay in opening tournaments

 

We look rough.

That bammer we got has not been impressive so far.
