Eh, shit is better than a flaming pile of shit, but I'm not sure that's worth celebrating. We did some good things on special teams but we also had plenty of back breaking mistakes too. I'm ready for a fresh look with that unit.

We have been solid but not fielding punts should have been so easily correctable.

I realize it is the hardest play in football but still.

I like him but our punter hasn’t been overly impressive with distance.
Kickoff guys boom it deep but I don’t know if he coaches that at all. Kickoff coverage not the best.
    I’m sure he helps recruit.
We have a rugby guy punting and should have let him run a couple of times.

that still goes back to me a long time ago. I returned punts and found it harder than playing wr or db to try to catch and get a return without getting your head knocked off.
Standing back there to catch a perfectly turned over spiral for a fair catch isn’t, but catching a knuckler and trying to get return yardage is. That’s why there’s usually only a couple of guys on the team trusted to get back there.

I couldn't remember who said it. Seems like it was some character named limpleg.

They’ve been hinting for a few months they wouldn’t be actively trying to keep him here.

He's been fairly open and honest that he would go back to Nebraska if offered

I get it but our cbs were one of the bigger strengths in the team 2 deep. Just reminded we lose McCoy. Sucks.
    Banks coaches safeties.

I think S&C has slowly gotten worse. I think Pruitt built it up.

The S&C coach only got a 1 year deal this winter, Heupel may agree with you

Kentucky beat our ass in DB recruiting this year. He’s just one of these rando lifer position guys that belongs somewhere like Analingus U at this stage of his career where he can gobble up table scraps in recruiting at the big high schools in Atlanta after real programs come through and take the top players. Instead he’s doing that here where we’re trying to, in theory, win a damn championship of some kind. He’s a guy that after he retires we’ll start hearing rumblings of him sleeping at his desk or not doing his due diligence in recruiting because he might’ve had to drive an extra hour to go see a guy. It’s a tale as old as time.

This has been scheduled for damn near 20 years if I'm not mistaken and then they dodge it a year and a half out. Ridiculous.
