Part of this is just his size but Tim Smith.
ZZ is having himself a day
Bailey needs to hit that portal.
Yep. No minutes in the 2nd half.
UNC’s interior defense was very bad, but Tennessee looks so good when we’re clicking. I think yesterday and today represent pretty much worst-case/best-case from this team, and the gulf is wide. No idea what to expect.
That felt good. Hubert Davis probably will suck as a coach but we never beat those guys.
Fulky looked great. He was nearly perfect but missed that alley-oop.
Basilio saying Chandler was getting over what JJJ had today to keep him out so that explains why he was so off yesterday.
JJJ also tore a finger ligament.
That was masterful today against a team which went toe to toe with a fantastic Purdue team yesterday. I would love to be proven wrong that this team lacks the "dog" factor and today was a good start.
Good response by the team.
[uck fay] Rick Barnes though.
You’d have to be pretty damn old to remember our last win over UNC prior to tonight. It was 1949.
[uck fay] Rick Barnes all day long if he benches Chandler again for a half with 2 fouls.
Maybe at some point you will find the ability to be critical without going overboard overreaction.
Fine to disagree with the decision. He may make a different one next time, or the same one,but he also learned a little bit about a few players yesterday as well, good and bad.
No reason JJJ, Fulk, Santi, Powell, BHH, ZZ, V shouldn't have been able to hold their own and not collapse without a true freshman in game 2 of his career. Couple guys already moving around on depth chart due to how that played out.
I was glad to see Fulky looking like a ballplayer tonight.
He missed a lot of time. Again. Broken thumb not easy to come back from either.
It looked like he hurt his hand early in the game.
Team is young with a high ceiling. There will be big swings from game to game while they figure it out. Enjoy the process.
