Good game from Uros. Zeigler is just a difference maker. In the end, Vols looked a little grittier.

We need Chandler to take another step.

Our scoring slump as a team seems to be right in line with Fulky’s individual slump. Feels like getting him back to full speed is the key to how this season finishes.

 

Good teams win. Great teams cover.

 

I'm not sure we win this particular game with JJJ. He was off early on both ends.
Uros is giving some good minutes outside of a couple dumbass plays. He also isn't scared to get in an opponents face or take up for his teammates.

 

Maxim #9: Take the win. Never bet on Tennessee (to cover).

 

A guy like uros ought to be confident. He can't hide.

 

I don't know how it translated on TV, but Vandy seemed up our ass defensively all night and often mauled us without a whistle while refs bailed their ass out on more than a few occasions. We couldn't shoot for shit, but Zeigler is a tough mother [uck fay]er. Him taking the ball away from the entry pass to the 6-10 post was the most impressive play of the night. Chandler speed in person is impressive, but man is he feast or famine. He would make one unbelievable play and then dribble into a turnover on the next play. I was pleasantly surprised by the play of Uros while befuddled at the mess that has become Fulky.

All in all, I saw nothing which gives me any promise this team will make significant accomplishments this year. Of course, beating the Commode-dores in that glorified high school gym is a challenge, so a win is a win.

Gonna go out on a limb and say Fulkerson "looks" like he has not recovered from bout with covid.

Anecdotally, our grandson (soph HS, cross country/tennis, athletically active) with 2 shots got covid several weeks ago. Even after recovering (testing negative) he still complains of tiredness.

But who knows.

 

He’s just nowhere near 100%.

 

Hes also lost a load of confidence in addition to more weight.

 

If LSU is without Pinson and Days Saturday and JJJ is OK we absolutely need to win. Pinson may be back though. Days got injured in the Bama game and I would be surprised if he's back in 4 days.
