Mike Leach would be a decent fall back

As much as I enjoy eccentrics, I don't want him here. Square peg and a round hole.

 

Mike Leach would destroy the world at at Florida, or an Oregon. You have to be three deep with athletes and your lineman have to move. There's no malleability in what makes that offense go. Tennessee doesn't recruit well to that type of offense historically.

 

Is it just too much to ask for us to hire a name synonymous with championship football?

 

Especially when you have two of them doing **** all right now, just waiting to be had.

 

Leach is in the same tier of coach as Mullen. Don't let the 5-0 start this year block out losses to Eastern Washington and Portland State in 2016 and 2015(respectively). Historically he is just as likely to upset a top 10 team as he is to lay an egg against a lesser opponent. He'd be fun as hell to watch at a program with SEC talent but for every win over Florida or Georgia he'd have a loss to Kentucky or USCe.

I can't believe Tee Martin is +900. I kinda figured he would be a dark horse front runner to be honest. Top 5.

Tee Martin would be a disaster, but damnation the fan base would be all in for him.

Now that I think about he is almost certainly who we hire.

 

Yeah, I don't want Tee. Nice guy, great leader, but I don't think he's a head coach.

 

Mike Norvell was 4th on that list. Good Lord.

 

I would go to the very bottom of the list and bet the farm
