They have players who are good at making contested threes. So they take them. “Good basketball”, are you the arbiter of what that is? Metrics say they’re pretty good.
This one pissed me off. They have a lot to play for and we lay an egg while our former coach who got us in NCAA trouble beats us for the second year in a row.
Tough pill to swallow. A lot of people believe this is our best team ever (and maybe they can prove that with a Final Four). But to not win the conference...really sucks.
Blew a [uck fay]ing shot at the conference title and a one seed because they played I don't know what the [uck fay] they were doing basketball. Now they are probably going to get shipped out west as a 2. [uck fay]ing shit today. Pure [uck fay]ing shit.
Why do we go to Grant late in games and not throughout the game? I’m assuming Barnes doesn’t want to wear him down too early. I’m hoping once the NCAA tourney starts we will go to Grant more often.
Yes. They took the contested 3’s because they’re good at making them. Not because their offensive possession was awful and they had to take a shot to avoid a shot clock violation. Please tell me more about this great basketball strategy Auburn employs.
I want LSU to win now. This team doesn't deserve a [uck fay]ing share of the conference title. [uck fay] that. Hope UK has the tie breaker so they are the 3.
Did I call it that? Did you watch Bruce’s Tennessee team’s? Sometimes the style Auburn plays leads to cringeworthy performances. But they’ve got talented guys and Bruce lets them play free. Don’t know what else to say.
I still REALLY want to see the shot that took them from 72 to 75 again. Not only do I not think that ball went in without being touched by someone under the basket, but I also think that touch took place in an illegal position above the basket. I could be wrong, but if I’m not, that was a huge play and a huge miss.
Against teams who don’t have a guy with the length or physicality to match him it should be the primary goal.
