Can we give him the head coaching position? Like now.
God that would be something. Let him hire a good up and comer OC and we could roll.
Enjoy him while we have him.
He's going to make somebody a good head coach. Probably within the SEC.
He likes Nashville
Give gim the keys to UT, let him live in nash, and give him access to the plane for commuting.
My fear is he ends up at Vandy as well.
Why Vandy? With a decent coach at UT/FL/GA and a half decent coach at USCe, you can't be a consistent winner there. What would drive a man that freaking intense and driven to want to retire with a 52% win percentage?!? And don't mention Jimmy Franklin because that takes us to the ddiapos years. Damn...will I ever ever ever get over that?
He's a Yale grad.
Maybe he would be content with making a shit ton of money and living in a city that his family loves. He could go to Vandy and make a bowl game every few years and he'd have a lifetime contract making more money than any of us are likely to ever make. Doesn't seem like a terrible scenario.
Vandy would be a stepping stone, not a final destination.
If Vandy is a stepping stone, it's like that one in granny's yard that's all cracked and you break your leg on it
It's a stepping stone to failure.
He would win enough there to enjoy a comfortable low pressure job.
He's doesn't strike me as the type of guy who'd be content with winning 6 games a year.
