Look at all our players with their eyes on Nico while he speaks. Dude even handled a crying baby smoothly
All I think about when I see those boxes of cheeze its is how there’s likely never been a group more in need of water in about 20 minutes.
In fact, I think Tennessee will have killed that narrative completely. Good defense, but not at all historical. Just an artifact of their schedule and style of play.
The MVP presenter should get his own MVP. Those guys tend to [uck fay] up even the simplest names, but you could tell he started practicing the pronunciation as soon as he knew Nico was getting MVP.
In the end, I think Heupel comes out looking fine on the quarterback rotation this season. Is Nico better? Yes. Would it have materially changed the trajectory of the season? No, too many other weaknesses. And now he is 100% going into next year, with a little experience.
I think I posted an image of the ranks of the offenses they played. Their schedule was a joke and 2 decent teams they played they lost 60-0. How can that be put in a league championship game. They beat Vandy in the SEC and that’s it.
One thing that bugs me is that when they gave Nico the MVP trophy, they only showed his passing stats. Like he only passed for 151 yards and a TD. He accounted for 4 TD's in a game with 5.
Take away the sacks and he has a nice day on the ground. Hell, Sampson catches that shovel pass and Keyton doesn’t stop and he has a nice day throwing it
