Thought he looked in over his head at times this year although I will acknowledge he had a few restraints with talent and injuries. With that said, if you have a chance to upgrade to a proven guy, do it.

I'm not all out on Jones, yet. His stock has trended downward over the season, but his recruiting is preventing me from selling off lock stock & barrel.

FWIW, I'd rather Jancek GTFO. The offense wasn't good, but we had our most yards rushing in ten years and I don't want to go to a spread OC that just throws it around all the damn time and tries to play a finesse game.

 

Of course that assumes you actually are able to upgrade.

I thought he called a great game against UGA and USC. I blame Vandy more on our ***** o-line. That was the game for that group to put this team on their back for a win. Having no reliable blocking TE, Freshman receivers, a noodle armed QB followed by a true Freshman QB doesn't exactly make for a great looking OC.
