Captain America: Civil War

I really just can not wait for this one. Here's a review with no spoilers (because it's already had an early showing for celebs etc...).

It should be the best of the Marvel movies.

Rogers dies and Bucky takes over. Isn't that how the comics go?

 

Absolutely

 

In some, Falcon does.

 

I miss the pre-1985ish period when everything was in a continual timeline. All these reboots and alternate realities make my head spin.

 

I don't think they'll let Cap die in this one. Chris Evans has already signed on for Infinity Wars. He's also the number two selling Marvel action figure.

Having the X-Men available would make this a whole lot better.

 

They're saying the X-Men/Avengers/Spiderman stuff could cross, in the future. Fox's people said they were open to it, as long as it was done with quality.

 

Doesn't seem practical to me. Too much money involved to split things up.

 

And how can you write a coherent 2.5 hour movie with that many heroes?

 

They could just do what they did with the Avengers and make a bunch of interconnected individual movies that culminates with all the characters joining up.

 

They're already at this threshold without adding the x men.

 

The idea of a civil war seems more serious when you have this huge mutant population to worry about.
