Christmas Music

Day after Thanksgiving, me and the kids put up the decorations while the wife is out Black Friday shopping (shudder)... Tradition of ours is to listen to Christmas music blaring while working.

So, what say you, rank your Christmas albums.

Always been partial to THE Christmas Song. Kind of a dumb name, but I like it.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is probably my favorite from the hymnal.

Oh Holy Night is the best when done well. John Berry does it best for my money.

 

Louis Armstrong &Friends - What a Wonderful Christmas is the best Christmas album out there.

John Denver - Rocky Mountain Christmas is a close 2nd.

 

I hate all of it.

 

I’m not crazy about the secular Christmas songs, not philosophically so much as just the cheese factor.

I don’t like how they put in all the cheesy bell and ding ding sounds. Just play your style. Kind of why I like the Weezer Christmas album. Relient K has a fun one too.

Oh Holy Night and Silent Night are my all time favorite.


Listen to a lot of Pentatonix.

 

Carol of the bells (instrumental version) is probably my favorite. I can't stand Rudolph.
