Favorite drinks for the summer. I'm a single malt and water guy, most days, but during the summer, I like to mix it up. Mojitos, Margaritas and Bloody Mary's are the obvious. I've never had a mint Julep, so might try one this year. Any other good summer drinks?
Honestly I became vanilla after moving from Florida for some reason and strictly drink whiskey on the rocks or beer. That being said, I do have good memories of Rum Runners, if made correctly will make a hot summer day a lot more enjoyable. I use to make this Arnold Palmer drink that consisted of vodka, Bacardi Limon, iced tea and lemonade.
Just looked at a rum runner recipe. Makes a greatful dead look like a cake walk. Looks good, though. The Arnold Palmer mix looks solid, but anything and vodka and tea is a rough day for me.
