If this video that the Cubs posted didn’t make you cry, then maybe this will: WTHR reported that Cubs fan Wayne Williams drove from his home in North Carolina to the cemetery in Indiana where his father is buried to watch Game 7. Williams promised his dad — who was a World War II signalman and fought at Normandy on D-Day — that if the Cubs made it to the World Series, he’d listen to the games with him. He wasn’t about to break his word.
