I'm interested to see what DeBord does with the tight ends. You've got a scary amount of athleticism in Croom and Wolf.

Hurd, Dobbs and Kamara are going to be great on the ground, that's not really a question. If they use the TEs, this offense could be unbelievably good.

The defense should border on elite, in my opinion.

 

Hot damn we have some beasts on this team. We better unleash them.

 

For once in a long time we have beast on both sides of the ball. Butch better not F this up. If Jimbo Fisher can do it anyone can.

 

I can't decide if you guys are cute or inspiring.

 

Yes, while I don't think Dobbs is an elite passer, i think Debord can help that situation with play calling. Gettimg more plays for the TE will certainly help, but we have elite talent between Williams, Jennings and Malone too. Got to figure out ways to let them make plays.

My only concern on defense is losing one of our LBs or DTs to injury. Think we're solid in depth everywhere else.

Better coaching this year (I know it's hard to think we'll get it, at least on offense) will allow this team to do something we haven't seen them do in years, which is compete for a championship.

Regardless of how negative I've been toward Butch and staff, as others have been on here, I am always ready for football season.

Jimbo may be an easy guy to make fun of but he's still miles ahead of Butch.

 

Jimbo has very little to show for his recruiting

True. Unfortunately, our blind squirrel is more likely to wander across I-40 at rush hour than to stumble across any meaningful trophy.

 

I have no problem with Butch playing frogger on I40.
