This whole thing happened one exit away from me, and traffic was horrific for miles, and several hours after the accident. I am thankful and amazed no lives have been lost. It's also good that the snowbirds have not returned for I fear it would have been much worse.

God, makes me think of that pileup north of Chattanooga on 75 involving 100+ cars because of fog when I was younger.

Quick detour to The Daquiri Deck on Siesta Key! Then down to Blackbeards for Gouper and Suds!

Siesta Key is special, no doubt.

I'm in Cocoa Beach now. Going to some special places in the eastrn Caribbean tommorrow.

It rained like pouring pee out of a boot on 95 from Jacksonville here today. Sun shining for 10 minutes then 15 minutes of a wall of water for 3 1/2 hours.

Rainy season can be a [itch bay] down here. It was allegedly a downpour that caused the big pileup here Friday. Glad you made it through okay, and hope you have a great time in the Caribbean.
