Crime and Punishment

    Not Dostoyevsky, but a philosophical question. Should the punishment for an attempted (i.e. failed) crime be less than that of a successful crime?

    Should probably be worse. If you're going to do something, at least do it right.

    I think prisoners that fail at their crime should wear different colored jumpsuits.

    There's no way the punishment could be less because a successful crime means they got away with it.

    not sure. if i shoot someone in the arm is that still attempted murder? i can see it being teh same if i left the person for dead or something.

    I believe in the death penalty for parking violations!
