I disagree. he's a big time coach. I'm not suggesting he'll have them winning NCs or something, but i wouldnt' be suprised by annual top 10 finishes.
I think his arky teams will have to show more than his Wisconsin teams if he ever wants to be more than second tier in the West waiting for LSU and bammer to fall. I agree. He's a good coach, but nothing he's done has proven to me that he can win the SEC.
you just decribed why stanford football cannot sustain success. they've always gotten a resonable number of highly rated guys, but their flop rate is astronomical and it's 100% because those guys care more about the degree than football.
