From the article: If the allegations that a Dem PAC / Org is behind this sort of tomfoolery, then two things are likely true: 1. McConnell's chances at being reelected will be somewhat bolstered 2. Democrats can almost always be counted on to be their own worst enemy. Link: Did Anyone Bug Mitch McConnell's Office? - NationalJournal.com
What's more likely? Some democrat placed a listening device in his office while getting past all his staff? or him or one of his staff members recorded it and it got found and released either by accident or by malice?
This is nothing new in the political world. However, I do find the reaction to "bugging" interesting.
I think that there is at least as much of a chance that someone in the McConnell camp did it, than someone outside of it. Apparently, the FBI is now sorting it out.
lot easier to run a listening device on your iphone than it is to break into an office and tape him. hard to imagine someone would take the latter risk given the small likely reward.
Never, this is nothing new politically. What is new is McConnell complaining about it. McConnell is getting desperate on all fronts. In Kentucky, coal is going after him because of the continual ass rape by Obama. Democrats are using their tried and true tactic of unfounded accusations and forcing McConnell to defend himself. McConnell chose to rat out one of the oldest political games by claiming bugging. Imo, McConnell is in a freefall meltdown.
Hopefully, they did and wiped their nutsacks all over his phone mouthpiece on the way out of the door.
Imo, it was a leverage move inside the Ky political machine. Poochy, guess whose lexington office is next door to McConnells lexington office?
