Wait a minute, so when we say that the QB should "throw it away" when he is under pressure should be instead say he should "pass it away"? Or when there's a guy wide open and we're all yelling "throw it" at the top of our lungs, should we yell "pass it" instead? Or "he throws a tight spiral" should be "he passes a tight spiral"?
WR's will now be known as "catchies" and RB as "runnies" and the one in charge of the throw game will be "throwies"... don't forget the "blockies"
When my wife gets caught up in the action of a football play, she typically reverts to yelling "go" or, alternately, "get him" when her routing interest is on defense. It makes things much simpler.
I thought this was all women. My wife tries to act like she knows a bit, but winds up asking one to many questions. "Go" and "get him" are her usual excited expressions as well.
