I do not know, but from what I have read from people who experienced IEDs in Iraq, it seems like when you're that close you get knocked out so quick that probably not. Like, I guess the shock wave rocks your brain against your skull as fast or faster than your nerves can indicate and your brain register "pain." Light switch off, off like getting hit by a truck.
I just can’t get over the before and after pics. Like, I sit here and stare at them, amazed at the damage that was caused.
I like reading the Reddit pages. People are posting about their experiences and linking to local charities. While others around the World are offering emotional support and donating to those charities. Humanity at its best.
