In my business I employed about 34 females in an appointment setting dept., and observed much back stabbing, manipulating, scheming, and just plain old jealousy. Once one became at odds with another, there was rarely any reconciliation. Cliques were rampant and a hindrance to productivity. Managers would try to make each other look bad at the expense of not getting my sales reps booked. I wouldn't wish having to deal with that situation on hardly anyone.

My first year teaching, I was at a K-8 school. The middle school section was about half male. We all got along great. The elementary section had one male. It stayed in an uproar. It was comical and sad at the same time.
