I posted earlier how I thought she sucked.

I hate when she tries to throw in a nonsensical joke in the middle of a football piece.

 

Almost none of the Grantland set knows anything about or gives a shit regarding sports. They see themselves as auditioning for Saturday Night Live or Mother Jones.

 

Bill Barnwell and Bryan Curtis aren't too bad

 

barnwell is ok. rembert brown is a complete and utter moron. the rest I've avoided. I actually find Andersen amusing, but completely agree she should stick to humor rather than real reporting or actual analysis.

 

She's fine when she's writing about a shitty tv show I don't watch.

You say that primarily because she uses footnotes?

 

I like Aunt Stabby.

Never to be confused with hard hitting journalism or even the local homer beat writer. In the never ending circus of pain that UT football came to represent, she gave me more than a few laughs when I needed them.

....she writes from what could best be described (imo) as the "why so serious?" vein of college football.
