    More of a Next Generation fan to be honest. The reboot Star Trek was pretty decent.

    That's my point! Why have we obviously been wasting money looking for things in space that are invisible? What genius came up with the idea? Out of sight, out of mind!

    Just to clarify, I don't think anyone actually said the planet was supposed to be invisible. Scientists just said they'd have seen a planet if already if it were on the way and even if somehow it happened to be invisible they'd have seen its gravitational effects on other planets.
