In my experience, hood people are the best cooks so you are very lucky.

 

One word:

Brine

 

My mom roasts it in the oven and it’s good. Most people don’t know when to stop

 

Brine it the night before, cook it at high heat for a little while then drop the temp.

Use a thermometer.

Comes out juicy and delicious

 

Foil helps too.

 

Don't know what is was about this year but I ate so much damn stuffing and pumpkin pie yesterday. (not together) I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

 

Do trash can turkey and enjoy. Cooks in like a little over an hour and the skin is crispy and the bird stays juicy

Pumpkin pie is tied for my favorite pie, with key lime.

 

Sounds like we have a couple big Cheddars fans.

 

Might as well take a dump in a pie crust
