He would be a bigger moron than we think if he ever even glanced sideways at the Bama job when Saban retires.
It took him awhile to get it going there. He's not receiving any grace if he's expected to save a program
I couldn’t blame him for doing it. It wouldn’t be a business decision. That’s just a move you make out of love. No matter where I was in my career, I’d probably drop it for UT.
Sumlin had it where he got his full buyout, which was 10 million plus, within either 60 or 90 days after his termination
Not me, I'd choose Tennessee. We pay you millions to learn on the job and then buy you out when you suck.
I’ll be your DC. I have no experience whatsoever which should allow me to continue the TAMU tradition of a weak defense that stops nobody.
Won 9 games his first full season, and he won 10 games in season 3. Has had 7 straight 10+ win seasons since. Clemson hadnt won 10 in a season since 1990. I wouldn't consider that taking a while to get it going.
He did. Even after that first conference title, he gave up 70+ in a bowl game. And he lost 5 straight to South Carolin. Its rolling as well as any program in the country now, but it took him a few years to go from good to great.
