In not particularly shocking news, VQ just broke that Serrano is "stepping down" at the end of the season.

 

Will announce shortly that Todd Raleigh is returning to UT

 

Only thing that surprised me is he announced it and not currie.

 

What about Mark Calvi or Craig Gibson?

 

I like Calvi. Great pitching coach. Would have to have a strong hitting coach though.

Gibson may turn out to be a good one. But Mercer to the SEC is a helluva jump.

Also, Burke's camp is already pushing hard. And Todd Helton is firmly in it.

 

I like Chris Burke, I didn't really think that was where we should go, 5 or 6 years ago, but at this point I'm thinking why not?

This hire will tell the tale on Currie in my opinion. Is he gonna rely on folks that know a good fit...
