How we close the 2018 class

My last guess on who signs on signing day:

1. JJ Peterson
2. Jordan Young
3. Quay Walker
4. Isaac Taylor-Stuart
5. Jacob Copeland
6. Otito Ogbonnia
7. Jashuan Corbin
8. Glenn Beal

 

For someone who doesn't follow recruiting, if this is the finish, how would you rate it on a scale of A, B, C,...?

Looks like we may only land one of those elite guys. And now we have to worry about Jordan Young to FSU.

 

That’s best case scenario

 

And would be a home run.

 

A lot of talk that if we land ITS we will likely get Griffin too. I think Beal is heavily leaning towards A&M.

Young reaffirmed he is solid to us.

 

Yeah, I haven't seen where we have been really going after Beal that hard either, but maybe I missed it.

 

Edit, I guess I missed it, sounds like we have a good shot.

 

If we get Walker, Peterson and one of the top corners I'll be happy with that and whoever else we get. I just never have felt good about Copeland, I think he's playing us and goes to UF. Hope I'm wrong.

 

If we land ITS and/or Griffin to go along with Walker and Peterson, that's a pretty amazing defensive haul for this staff given the season we had and short time to recruit these kids to a new school.

 

Apparently he’s no longer considering us.

 

That would be huge. I just can't see Griffin leaving CA at this point, so trying not to get my hopes up.

 

I think this is the right take. Have pretty high expectations for the 19 class. Think this staff will finally be able to bring in some big time OL and DL.

 

Best case is dropping Beal and adding Griffin

 

Tennessee wants Beal as a dlineman, he wants to play TE.

 

Nah - our staff is definitely worried about the visit.

Griffin and Copeland ship has sailed. Have to hope we survive Walker's UGA visit and we blow ITS out of the water this weekend. Landing 2 of those 4 and not losing anyone would be a good finish.
