Hi guys, just giving update to my surgical situation. I continue to have blood pressure problems. Today it caused me to have to miss most of my physical therapy session. Got down to 80/40, causing an unbelievable headache and dizzyness. The worse thing was the occupational therapy session was cut too, and I was going to take a shower with a very cute therapist. Each night I endure extreme cramping of my legs where all the muscles tie up knots, and will not stop except by getting in wheelchair and doing laps around floor. They still cramp but relax enough to where I can bear it. This has been happening every night since surgery. I can say without reservation this is the toughest thing I have taken on, but I will come through it. On the positive side, I am ahead of schedule in all of my therapies, and was told I was in the pool in the quickest time ever. I can use your prayers and positive thoughts if you are so inclined. May each of you be blessed with good health. It is a priceless commodity.
Not trying to be a smart aleck but have you tried marijuana for the cramping? I had a bad case of RLS and it worked wonders for me...
True. Marijuana also helped me get headaches and nausea under control too. I haven't needed it for years now but when I did it was the ONLY thing that worked.
I've never been interested in the stuff but have too many people say what you do to not support it being treated more reasonably by the feds.
Another topic for another thread but I honestly believe the Feds know how powerful it is and are protecting Big Pharma.... That said, best wishes for a speedy and full recovery RB!
Prayers for you, the doctors, the nurses (God help them!) and the therapists. And most of all for your family. You have the best possible attitude you can have. Stay in the moment. Your Friend
