I hate this one game wild card... ('14 playoff thread)

Its been, at best, a push for the last week.

 

Hard to believe that no one had ever played in CWS and MLBWS in same year until this one.

 

That's not all that impressive I played a rock and roll show and a Romanian college basketball team in the same day

 

Not really. If you are still in college on Memorial Day, what are the chances you are ready for the biggest stage in October.

Hope this holds, which it should. I love me some Game 7s. Plus I want the royals to win.

 

7 run inning and come back and walk a couple guys. Come on.

 

Drives me crazy and has even led to an ejection or two for me.

 

If it was 2010 they probably would have called Posey safe there. Still bitter.

 

That has to be the quickest ever for the entire starting lineup to have a hit, right? Everyone had a hit by the second inning.

I love me a game 7. Regardless of sport, I'll watch.

 

I honestly didn't agree with pulling Peavy in the top of the 2nd. I know what Bochy was trying to do and no one wants the pressure of having to win a game 7 in someone else's building but bringing in Petit right there made no sense to me. Then after Petit gives up that first two run single, I would have got him out. His fast ball had no life and he was hanging his breaking balls bad. Note: Machi should never again pitch for money. He is ****ing terrible. I want the Royals to win ... went to school and played with Willingham so I'm pulling for The Hammer.

 

Joe Maddon to the Cubs.

 

I had no idea we had fired Rentiria. And after one year. Eh, Maddon will get the Cubs taint on him and go 62-100 next year.

Interesting how managers handle the game different when it is the last game of the year for all the marbles.
