Interim HC if need be

I hope that what ever happens, whether butch leaves now or stays throughout the next year, that the Tennessee AD doesn't panic and make another 4-5 year commitment to another loser. Name an interim head coach if need be, but for the love of all that is good in this world, take the time and do it right. With this AD it may be too much to ask for, but I will remain hopeful for now.

I'd gladly take Phil back for a year over butch.

Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting Phil or anyone specific, as interim.

 

Which is why Phil should be kept as far from the post as possible.

Why not follow KSU? Snyder may be older than the Crypt Keeper but I'd take him over Phil for only a year. Because IF Fulmer happens to be a one year interim and even finishes 7-5 our benchlicking fanbase will demand he be awarded a lifetime contract. And Fulmer is just smart enough to realize that.

 

You could shit in a bucket and put it on the sideline as interim HC for a win against a directional FCS school and 90% of our fan base would want to give it a 5 year contract.
